Meeting of the Old Wellingburians’ Lodge

A number of old Kimboltonians attended this Lodge which met at Rushden in order to ‘snatch’ the Federation of School Lodges Travelling Gavel.

The Old Wellingburians had taken the gavel from the Old Kimboltonians at the FSL AGM in August so it was felt appropriate to ‘rescue’ it back!!

Those attending from the Old Kimboltonians were R. W Bro Mark Constant Provincial Grand Master, W.Bros Martin Wilson, Gerald Sansom (WM) Stephen Kingan, Fred Dudley and Bros Matt Dempsey, Jason Chambers and John Hunt.

Martin Wilson petitioned for the Gavel and it was duly handed over by W Bro Peter Tyldesley, Worshipful Master to our Worshipful Master Gerald Sansom. 

R W Bro Mark Constant, PGM, gave a rousing talk on the Federation and his plans for the year as well as an update on Provincial matters and thanks to the Old Wellingburians for a fantastic evening.
